Vireos are small and stockier, their bills are with curved ridge and slightly hooked and they have short strong legs. They are also less-active than the warblers not as colorful as the warblers.

WoodWarblers are very active, brightly colored small birds with pointed bills and smaller than Sparrows. They are mainly solitary and mix with flocks of song birds during migration. One can find them in the woodlands and conifers in the summer.
